EDUCATION AND PROVEN LEADERSHIP:
B.A. in Political Economy - UC Berkeley; M.A. in Public Policy - Claremont Graduate School. Naval Officer on aircraft carrier USS MIDWAY (1985-1989). Chief Consultant on Health and Insurance Legislation with the California Legislature (1989-present). Helped negotiate HMO reform laws, such as access to specialists (like OB/GYNs)
and second opinions.
SMALL BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:
Kevin knows small business challenges firsthand. He spent 7 years working in his family’s butcher’s market.
AUBURN COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
Chamber of Commerce Forum, Chairman of the Greater Auburn Area Fire Safe Council, and Lector at St. Joseph’s Church.
