Coffee with Kevin
Come and discuss city issues with Councilman Kevin Hanley at Courthouse Coffee at 1425 Lincoln Way. Kevin will gladly spring for a free cup of coffee and listen to your suggestions about how to make Auburn an even more enjoyable place to live. Kevin will be at Courthouse Coffee every fourth Saturday from 9 - 10am:
The morning after city council meetings, Kevin talks with Barry Stigers on KAHI (AM 950). Listen on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 8:00 AM.
Project Canyon Safe underway, next date TBD
On May 22, 114 volunteers joined with Kevin to clear brush from American River Canyon, preventing another catastrophic fire season. Those interested in volunteering or making a donation to future events, please contact Kevin at 530-906-1042 or gaafsc@hotmail.com. More details here.
Great news! Joanne Neft will be hosting a fundraiser for my re-election at her home on Saturday July 24, 5 to 8 pm, "A Local Taste of Auburn." We have asked local businesses to contribute platters and libations for the event. With the incredible view of the American River from her deck, this will be an ideal location for a mid-summer gathering. I hope you all will ink this on your calendars for a fun event, and plan to share invitations with your friends.
