Make your check out to "Project Canyon Safe." A total of $1.5 million is needed to protect our town and firefighters.

Project Canyon Safe is sponsored by the Greater Auburn Area Fire Safe Council, in cooperation with the Auburn Fire Department, state and federal agencies, to lower the fire danger in the city and to restore the Shaded Fuel Break along the ridge of the American River Canyon. Providing defensible space on both public and private lands will help protect all Auburn residents and our firefighters when they respond to a fire. The Robie Point project is the first in this multi-year effort.
